Founded in 2003 with a simple vision — to deliver the quality of a five-star hotel cafe at an everyday price. 85°C Bakery Cafe was born from the dream of Taiwan's award-winning pastry chefs to make premium baked goods and handcrafted drinks accessible to everyone.
Today, with over 1,000 locations worldwide across Taiwan, China, Australia, and the United States, 85°C has become a global destination for bread lovers, coffee enthusiasts, and anyone with a sweet tooth.
Our name comes from the ideal temperature for brewing the perfect cup of coffee — 85 degrees Celsius — a temperature that captures sweetness while eliminating bitterness.

85°C Bakery Cafe is proud to partner with Barry Callebaut's Cacao Trace program — a sustainable sourcing initiative that ensures fair wages and better livelihoods for cocoa farmers across the globe.
Through this partnership, we source premium cocoa from farming communities in Vietnam, Mexico, Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Uganda, the Philippines, and Papua New Guinea. Every purchase of our chocolate products directly supports sustainable farming practices and community development.
